Have tried a couple of these (different brands) and had no luck. This worked immediately. It’s well made of a metal body and has some heft to it. It comes with a keychain, although the link is very thin–recommend you put a different link on. It has clear plastic covers for each connection and they are both sturdy and tight. It also comes with a paper manual in reasonable English and PDF manuals in English and German on the device. You must D/L the app to your iPhone. When you plug in the device, it recognizes the app and opens it (if you allow it). Then you simply select the photos you want to copy and let it rip. DRM items are not supported for D/L from iOS devices.

I’m happy with this device in all respects but one. It works very well on my iPad, Mac and PC, it’s easy to use and it’s very fast. It copies files of all sorts: pictures, video and data files.
But ….I cannot get it to work on my Samsung Galaxy S8 phone, although the description says it works with Android phones. When I plug it into my phone and go to backup settings it either wants to transfer files to a new phone, or it says I need to format the flash drive, which I don’t want to do because I don’t know what effect that would have on its functionality with the other devices (and it would delete all the stuff I’ve already put on it). There are various “file management” apps in the Google play store, but from the descriptions it’s hard to know which, if any, will make it possible to transfer files to/from my Android phone.
If I can figure this out I’ll update my review to 5 stars. For those who have an iPhone I heartily recommend this little gizmo; it will probably work perfectly for you.

I was excited to get this because I needed to get my gazillion photos and documents and music off of my Samsung 20 FE to tranfer to my new Iphone. Each time I plugged it in to my phone port, it said phone charging and would not recognize the IDiskk and it would not allow me to change to storage download. Frustrated, I plugged into my laptop where it also did not allow me to copy anything. As a last resort, it allowed me to format. When I plugged it back into my phone, it suddenly recognized the Idiskk and allowed me to copy and tranfer all my files. I transferred my files to my laptop but when I attempted to put the stick back into my phone, I had the same error issue…phone charging! The only way I could get it to work was to re-format once again. I finally accomplished what I set out to do but not without spending several hours. I turned to you tube and also downloaded the manual. Not easy to follow. Ultimately, I ended up transfering my files to my one Terabyte Microsoft cloud drive. Not certain yet if I’m going to return this! I was hoping to store all my data on this small device, but with the glitch when plugging it in, I’m not sure it’s worth the time spent trying to get it to work properly.

I am a big advocate for backing up the pictures from your phone. Yes, we do have Google photos and iCloud. But if you take a lot of pictures, do you really want to be reliant on the cloud? Imagine having to download thousands of pictures from the cloud or if the cloud is ever hacked. This is a great way to have a copy at your fingertips at all times. It works for iPhones and androids as well as being a thumb drive for your computer. It’s a much faster way to transfer photos than the traditional way of plugging in your phone cord to the laptop. I recommend this to everybody.

This is a poor quality product. The app is terrible and does not work well with the storage diskor Iphones.
If this was a value based product I would not be as critical. However, the product is very pricey and does not work.
After 2 days of app issues and storage problems I gave up.
It might help if the instructions were clear and easy to follow, they are not.
I attempted to download the app to my PC and I raninto security issues.
I would be very careful when purchasing products from IDiskk.

I needed a way to transfer my pictures from my iPhone and iPad to clear up some space. This was easy to use, and it allowed for the downloading of the pictures quickly and without any problems. It is small enough to put in my purse and take with me if I want to share some pictures. Great value for the money.
